What will you learn in this bootcamp?
We've reviewed Photoshop foundations in the Beginner and Intermediate Bootcamps, now we're continuing to advance our skills by learning and practicing:
- Grids, guides, alignment, and spacing
- More complex selections and layer masks
- Working with multiple documents and document sizes
- Organizing larger, more detailed Photoshop files
- Combining typography, photography, and graphic design
- Making more independent design and editing decisions
- Applying skills that may appear on the Photoshop certification exa
What experience do you need?
This bootcamp is designed for teachers who understand the foundational Photoshop skills covered in the Beginner and Intermediate Bootcamps and are ready to apply those skills more independently.
You should already be comfortable with:
- Navigating the Photoshop interface
- Creating, naming, and organizing layers
- Using basic selection tools
- Creating and editing layer masks
- Using adjustment layers
- Using clipping masks
- Working with text and shape layers
- Opening, saving, and exporting Photoshop files
- Working with PSD, PDF, JPEG, and PNG files
- Moving images or layers between documents
- Working non-destructively
- Following a demonstrated Photoshop process without needing every foundational tool explained
You do not need to complete every project at the same pace as the live demonstration. If you are still developing your confidence, you are welcome to watch, take notes, and return to the replay to practice later.
